You can't talk about the Osees / Thee Oh Sees / OCS (yeah the name variation has jumped around a little bit over the years) without leading off with the mastermind behind it all, John Dwyer. Frontman of the group, John has, in my opinion, been the foundation of the rock community you see today for quite some time. We first saw him back when Williamsburg was Williamsburg and Death By Audio was the meca of underground rock in Brooklyn. The guy innovates & creates albums constantly; it's honestly hard to believe how the group can remember so many songs, nevermind perform them at such a high energy level each night. We've been going to see them for the past 10 years, but now we finally got to cover them. Playing for about 1.5 hours, they hit a range of tracks, including a few off of the recently released A Foul Form. If you've never seen them, please go do so. Hey, if you're in New York right now you still have two more nights to catch them over at Warsaw (9/23 & 9/24).
